Wacken Open Air (W:O:A) is the largest heavy metal
music festival in Europe. The Wacken Festival takes place
every year in the small town of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein,
northern Germany.
60,000 people attended last year, the festival first took place in 1990, and over 70 bands from around the wrold now play. The festival takes place over three days. Tickets are now on sale, and can be brought on an english speaking website, click on the link below. |
