THE DARKNESS ANNOUNCE FEBRUARY ARENA TOUR
Lock up your sons and daughters, because four-man rock machine The
Darkness are all set to return to the stage, announcing an arena tour
for February 2006. Debuting material from their new,
every-song-a-classic album, 'One Way Ticket To Hell ...And Back' the
shows will, as always, be so much more than just an ordinary live show.
The last time the band performed live was during their winter arena tour
of 2004. In typical Darkness fashion, the tour saw them raising hell
with some flaming incredible pyrotechnics, and charismatic frontman
Justin Hawkins taking in the view from a lap of honour astride a
life-size white tiger.
Every venue on the tour was a complete lock-out with 130,000 tickets
sold, including the band playing a three-night run at the home of
legends, Wembley Arena. Says Justin: "We are all really looking forward
to getting back out there and playing live to our fans. It will be great
to air the new album and new bass player, Richie Edwards, as well as
some of our older classics."
