Genesis have reformed and will be touring again in 2007.
An official announcement was released by the
band on
Tuesday, 7th November
confirming the bands plans for 2007.
Rumours suggested that Phil Collins , guitarist Mike
Rutherford
and keyboardist Tony Banks were planning a
reunion tour next year
and this has proven to be
correct. Rumours began when although Peter Gabriel
was
not expected to be part of the tour he left the band
in 1975.
Peter Gabriel had been quoted
as saying
"I think they seemed to be enjoying the
rehearsals from what I've heard, so there's no bad
feeling there."
He is still expected to
concentrate on his solo career and not join the
tour.
